Pwmed

I called your house when you were at work
Just to hear your answering machine voice
You left, walking away in silence
There suddenly wasn't any more you
Or any more me...
Don't leave me alone
I'm stupid, I know
But I'm so sick of living a love song
So sad every day and every night
Why can't I find out why you left...
Why do I always fail in holding in the tears
Whenever I'm standing in the bathroom undressed
I'm still wishing that I'm seeing your face
Hearing your love, and how you used to say you'd never leave
Until the day when you got up and left me alone...
You happy lovers child, smiling through the rain
I listen to your answering machine every single day
It's the number one song on my mental radio
(You were my world, but you came crashing down
Smashing me in your descent
It barely made a sound)
